www.cdibipolar.org
Dear Colleague,
The University of Pittsburgh is sponsoring the 2008 Career Development
Institute (CDI) for Bipolar Disorder. The goal of the CDI for Bipolar
Disorder is to provide training and mentorship to promising young
researchers from across the country who are interested in the study of
bipolar disorder. The program is designed to provide necessary skills
and support for them to have successful research careers in bipolar
disorder. The CDI for Bipolar Disorder is scheduled for April 26-29,
2008 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
We are writing at this time to inform you of this opportunity and to ask
that you consider applying yourself or, for more advanced investigators
on this distribution list, please forward to colleagues who are advanced
post-doctoral students, fellows, or junior faculty who would be
appropriate participants in the CDI for Bipolar Disorder. The details of
the program are outlined in the attached
announcement
and on our
website, www.cdibipolar.org.
Please address any questions to our Coordinator, Kim Bauer, at
bauerka@upmc.edu.
Thank you again for your help in identifying potential participants for
the 2008 Career Development Institute for Bipolar Disorder and assuring
that we address the nation's needs for physician scientists in this
important area of research.
Sincerely,
David J. Kupfer, M.D.
