Nicholas J. Schork, Ph.D., is Director of Research, Scripps Genomic Medicine and Professor, Molecular and Experimental Medicine, The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI).  Dr. Schork is also a member of the Executive Committee for the San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC).  Dr. Schork has published over 210 articles in the area of the genetic dissection of complex phenotypes.  His published work includes both methodological and applications-oriented research.  In addition, Dr. Schork has a long history of collaborative research in which he has contributed data analysis methodology and data analysis expertise.  For example, not only is Dr. Schork overseeing quantitative research for the Scripps Genomic Medicine initiative, but he is also Director of the Bioinformatics and Biostatistics Core of the NIA-sponsored Longevity Consortium (http://www.longevityconsortium.org/), the Director of statistical genetics for the NIMH-sponsored Consortium on the Genetics of Schizophrenia (http://www.npistat.com/cogs/), the Director of Data Analysis for the GAIN funded Bipolar GWAS (as well as a member of the GAIN analysis steering committee) and a statistical geneticist for the NHLBI-sponsored Family Blood Pressure Program (http://www.sph.uth.tmc.edu/hgc/fbpp/).
