Kelly Klump, Ph.D., Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI

Kelly Klump, Ph.D, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Michigan State University .  She received her BS in Psychology from Michigan State University and her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Minnesota.  Dr. Klump's research focuses on understanding the extent to which genetic and environmental factors influence the development of eating disorders.  She is particularly interested in developmental differences in these effects and their meaning for the genetic basis of eating disorders.  Dr. Klump has received several awards for her work, including the David Shakow Award for Early Career Contributions to Clinical Psychology from the American Psychological Association.  She is also the 2007-2008 President of the Academy for Eating Disorders.  Dr. Klump has been involved in the Price Foundation Studies since 1998.
