Jay W. Pettegrew, M.D.

Dr. Pettegrew is a Professor of Psychiatry, Neurology, Bioengineering and Behavioral and Community Health Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic, Pittsburgh, PA.  Dr. Pettegrew is an internationally recognized expert in the area of magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) of neuropsychiatric disorders. He has extensive experience in the application of in vivo MRSI/MRI to normal brain development and aging, Alzheimer's disease, autism and schizophrenia.
