Kanagasabai Panchalingam, Ph.D.
Dr. Panchalingam is
Research Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Department of
Psychiatry, University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine, Western
Psychiatric Institute and Clinic, Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Panchalingam
holds a Ph.D. in Physics and has more than 20 years’ experience in MRSI;
specifically in designing and developing MRSI methods. His work has been
the basis for in vivo MRSI studies in schizophrenia and Alzheimer's
disease in the Neurophysics Laboratory leading to important original
publications in these areas.
Dr. Panchalingam oversees the quality
control, processing and analysis of the spectroscopy data, as well as
oversee the processing and quantification of the MRI segmentation data.
