Biographical Sketch

Shawn Ellies is a Research Specialist and he is currently working on "Assessing Juvenile Psychopathy: Developmental and Legal Implications Study". His research interests are violence in the mentally ill patient and forensic science. His past research experiences were "A test of Concordance of Two Methods for recalling violent events", "Intensive Follow-up of Violent Patients", "Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Study", "Clinic Satisfaction Study", "Teach: Teens and Adults Can Help Professionals", "Gang Youth Study" and "Clinic Satisfaction Outcomes". He has been working on the Psychopathy Study for approximately 10 months. His main focus in on locating patients and conducting interviews within communities and institutions.

In addition to his research experience, Shawn has been in the military for 17 years and is currently a Staff Sergeant in the US Army Reserves. He is also dedicated to law enforcement.
