Head Injury Study for Children


Children and adolescents 6 through 16 years of age may be eligible to participate in this study if they sustained a traumatic brain injury at least 6 months ago and are currently having difficulty with concentration, memory, and/or behavior.

Course of Study

Following a brief screening to determine eligibility to participate, children are randomized to receive medicine or continued standard of care. Children then complete thinking, listening and speaking, remembering, drawing and motor skills at the beginning of the study and then 12 weeks later. Participation in the study is free of charge and paid compensation is included.
