How do members propose a research project?

CARE-NET research studies may be proposed by current investigators and/or practice clinicians.  In an effort to keep research relevant to current pediatric practices concerns, the CARE-NET investigators will conduct routine surveys to assess the clinical need of participating sites and attempt to conduct research aimed to address identified needs.   Physicians in practice sites may work with CARE-NET researchers as co-investigators on projects or may simply offer support to the project in terms of assisting with recruitment and promoting the study’s goals to the collective practice.  Decisions regarding new research studies are always done in collaboration with participating sites and usually communicated through the CARE-NET coordinator.
