|The Biometrics Research Program is devoted to understanding physiological correlates of cognition in individuals with and without psychopathology. Brain activity is assessed through measurement of pupil dilation, event-related potentials (ERPs), including P300, N400, and very late slow waves, electrocardiography (ECG), electromyography (EMG),and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). The lab is affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry, School of Medicine, University of Pittsburgh, and with the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System. The program in Pittsburgh was founded by Joseph Zubin and Stuart R. Steinhauer in 1977, and is based at the VA Pittsburgh University Drive Campus|
