Adapt and Me
- All participants receive a comprehensive pain, mood, and psychosocial evaluation.
- All participants receive venlafaxine (Effexor©), close clinical management by a highly trained staff, and study interventions at no cost. ½ of participants also receive Problem Solving Therapy for Depression and Pain (PST-DP) at no cost.
- Participation may reduce use of opioids (like Percocet, Vicodin, and Oxycodone).
- Participants can be compensated up to $130 for their time and to defray the cost of transportation.
- We keep the physicians of participants posted on their progress throughout the study (with their written permission).
- After participants complete the study, we will provide treatment recommendations and facilitate aftercare. The continued well-being of our valued participants is very important to us.
