Act 74 for Psychologists and Social Workers

The continuing education credit mandated to satisfy the Act 74 requirement is available only to UPMC and affiliated employees at this time. You'll need to register with your UPMC-affiliated e-mail address (upmc.edu, chp.edu, ccbh.edu, mail.magee.edu, etc.) to receive a continuing education certificate.  

 

Instructions:

1.  Please click here to watch the one hour video. If you are on your work computer, click on 'play presentation'. If you're using a personal computer/laptop, then download Silverlight 5.

 

  1. 2.  Once you've completed the video, click here to access a site for you to register (on bottom of page). At this site you'll complete your Attendance Verification Form by answering all questions, and you will be able to pay ($10) for your certificate.

  2.  

  3. 3.  You may need to set up an account if you've never registered for a class in this system. Payment is via a credit card. Use "complete" as "continue". Please answer all the questions.

  4.  

  5. 4.  Click on the link on your receipt to access the training evaluation (required).

  6.  

  7. 5.  At the end of the evaluation, you will be directed to take a quiz (required). The passing score is 80%.

  8.  

  9. 6.  If you pass the quiz, you'll receive your certificate within five working days. If you haven't scored 80%, you will be contacted to take the quiz again.

  10.  

  11. 7.  Copies of the PowerPoint presentation are available here.

  12.  

  13. Please keep your certificates in a safe place. Replacement certificates cost $30.
