The Office of Education and Regional Programming of Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic is pleased to announce its spring videoconference series. Please note times on each videoconference. The topics include:

Evidence Based Treatments for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD): An Overview (T303), September 16, 2015 9am-11am


ECT in Late Life (T301), October 14, 2015 9am-11am


Strategies for Working with Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD) Children in Adoptive, Residential and Family of Origin Homes (T302), November 18, 2015 9am-11am


Mental Health and Homelessness (T304), December 9, 2015 9am-11am


WPIC STAFF: WPIC staff are welcome to attend at the Biomedical Science Tower site (Room 104) at no cost. To register, please complete a registration form (Fall) and fax or email it back to Nancy Mundy at mundynl@upmc.edu

Your agency can be a participating site for the winter videoconferences. For a fee of $500 per program, your agency/organization will receive the following:

  • Training by experts in their respective fields without having to travel

  • Bridging service to the videoconference (you just need to have videoconferencing equipment)

  • Continuing education credits

  • Your choice in selection of videoconferences. Subscribe to one or all of the programs.
