Objectives:  Participants will be able to: 

  • Recognize developmental aspects of the recovery oriented services paradigm

  • Design recovery oriented strategies to address needs of people with SMI

  • Model and teach recovery oriented approaches to individuals with severe disabilities

  • Recognize strengths and capacities of individuals during periods of significant impairment
