Objectives:
Participants will be able to:
- Describe the continuum of
emergency and crisis services needed to meet
community needs in an efficient manner
- Explain how integrated systems
can improve the quality of services provided to
persons in crisis and reduce the cost of care in the
long term.
- Participate in crisis planning
processes in a constructive manner.
- Demonstrate understanding of
financing mechanisms to support crisis and emergency
services and how they influence the services
provided.
The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine is
accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing
Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical
education for physicians.
The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine
designates this educational activity for a maximum of
1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Each physician should
only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their
participation in the activity.
