Objectives:  Participants will be able to:

  1. Identify strategies and barriers to engage family members as supportive members of recovery team
  2. Enable people in recovery to identify and connect with potential sources of support in the community.
  3. Describe issues commonly concerning family members and other natural supports and potential approaches for addressing them.

4.      The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Each physician should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
