Objectives:  Participants will be able to:

  • Promote the use of advance directives and use them appropriately in clinical practice.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to identify their wishes and service choices to incorporate them into the planning process.
  • Improve client’s adherence to service plans and enable them to make an investment in them.
  • Achieve more consistent use of services and greater satisfaction by service users.
