Welcome to CPSP’s Continuing Medical Education resources.  We invite you to participate in all of our educational programs.  The full schedule of this year’s videoconference education program is available here. To obtain CME for participation please do the following:

  1. If you attend a videoconference live, please send Eileen McKenna                     (mckennae@upmc.edu) your name, the last 5 digits of your social security number, and your professional degree (DO or MD).  

  2. If you seek CME for a videoconference that has been completed, you must     register, view the recording, complete the Quiz and Evaluation, and Print your Certificate by doing the following:  

1.   Choose the program you want to take from the list below. After you choose the topic you want to take, you will be directed to a link that will take you to the Internet- Based Studies in Education and Research site where you can view the video.  If you are new to the site, instructions to create a new user account is on the left hand side of the page. 

2.   Complete the educational program by clicking each item listed on the left for the program you selected. The last steps are completing the QUIZ and the EVALUATION, and then printing the CERTIFICATE.  All steps must be completed to receive CME credits. 

PLEASE NOTE:  For each session, once you have enrolled and reviewed the program objectives, there will be a link to the webcast itself.  The webcast is accessed through WebEx, an internet provider through which the original session is broadcast and recorded.  When you reach the WebEx site, click on the camera icon at the top right hand corner of the WebEx screen.  To obtain CME, when you finish viewing the webcast, the WebEx site will  return you to https://cme.hs.pitt.edu to complete the training.  Completing the training requires that you follow the steps for:  QUIZ;  EVALUATION; and CERTIFICATE.
