Main issues
for AACP: |
Represent the diversity of our membership in
public/community psychiatry.
Quality of care for our patients is critical.
We do operate with a scarcity
of resources so we should provide leadership
in how to operate most efficiently.
We need to advocate for our patients -
in grass roots collaboration with
organizations like NAMI and MHA. We
should provide input to the APA in issues
of community psychiatry. We
should work with legislators in helping to develop
reasonable public
policies and legislation. |
