New APA/Janssen Resident Travel Scholarship Program
The APA has stated that the diagnosis and treatment of the severely mentally ill is an important concern. To support residents interested in community systems of care it has announced the new APA/Janssen Resident IPS Travel Scholarship Program for travel to the Institute on Psychiatric Services. This program will support travel and related costs for approximately 15 residents to attend the Institute on Psychiatric Services. The program is coordinated by the APA Office of Graduate and Undergraduate Education and supported through an educational grant from Janssen Pharmaceutica. The program is open to all psychiatry residents in an ACGME-approved training program. Participants must be nominatedby their training director or department chairperson.
