Editors' Note

We would like to acknowledge and thank Wes Sowers for his tremendous dedication to the AACP and to the Community Psychiatry newsletter over the past ten years. It is really through his tireless efforts that the newsletter had been firmly established and its future assured. We have big shoes to fill. We are very pleased that he will continue to contribute his expertise and passion for this work as a member of the AACP Board. As early career psychiatrists, we are thankful that an organization as dedicated and passionate as the AACP exists to support the work of community psychiatrists. We look forward to serving this organization and to working with all of you. We hope that the newsletter will continue to be useful to those in a wide variety of practice settings and at various career stages. Though you may notice the absence of a Regional Reports section this issue, we feel this is a very important part of the newsletter. It will be included in future issues. We would like this newsletter to continue to represent the diversity of the AACP membership. Please help us to do that by sending your ideas, comments, and suggestions.
