Program Description:

This program will present reviews of
the published scientific evidence in support of pharmacologic treatments
for children and adolescents with common psychiatric disorders. The
focus will be on unbiased evaluations of common practices, which may or may
not have been evaluated in a scientifically acceptable manner.

|
Educational Objectives:
|
|
At the conclusion of the program, participants should be able to:

Review evidence based treatment with antidepressants, stimulants, and
antipsychotics.

Establish, which practices, have good scientific support for efficacy.
-
Recommend best practices for key disorders treated with these three
classes of medication.
